Lions Lawyers is pleased to announce the expansion of its operations to Western Ukraine with the opening of a new office in the city of Uzhhorod — the administrative capital of the Zakarpattia (Transcarpathia) region.
Strategically located on the European Union border, the region neighbours Hungary, Slovakia, and Romania, making it one of the most important cross-border business and investment gateways in Ukraine.
Since the onset of the full-scale Russian invasion, Zakarpattia has experienced a significant demographic and economic shift. The region’s population has grown substantially as businesses, investors, and displaced enterprises have relocated westward in search of operational continuity, security, and proximity to EU markets. This transformation has accelerated infrastructure development and generated new commercial, humanitarian, and public-sector initiatives.
