The Supreme Court of Ukraine held that funds deposited during marriage and held in a bank account constitute joint marital property. The Court upheld a spouse's right to USD 18,307.11, representing one-half of USD 36,614.23 deposited during the marriage.

The Supreme Court of Ukraine held that property acquired during marriage is presumed to constitute joint marital property. In a dispute concerning an apartment and vehicle, the Court set aside the lower-court decisions and recognised each spouse's ownership of a 1/2 share.
